Fresno Unified Tournament of Technology highlights students’ tech and problem-solving skills

Students in seventh, eighth and ninth grades will compete on Saturday, March 20 in the third annual Fresno Unified School District Tournament of Technology, which features competition in technology literacy and problem-solving. The competition, from 9 a.m.-noon with awards at 12:30 p.m., will be held throughout Hoover High School’s campus. Students compete in on-the-spot and prepared-project categories, with awards in each event and for an overall team champion. This highly successful event is supported by sponsors Microsoft, Cisco, Hewlett-Packard, AT&T, Western Blue, and IVS Computer Technology, with assistance from judges and volunteers from local businesses, California State University, Fresno, CART, Fresno County and others.

The Mini Blue Store will be closed on Saturday March 20 so that we can participate in Fresno Unified Middle School Tournament of Technology at Hoover High School.

We are Making a Few Changes

To better serve the needs of our customers the Mini Blue Student Laptop Store is making some changes to out hours of operations. Effective immediately Mini Blue will be open on Mondays from 3:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. and will no longer be open on Sundays.

The normal business hours for Mini Blue are as Follows:

Monday 3:30 P.M.- 7:30 P.M.

Tuesday 3:30 P.M. – 7:30 P.M.

Wednesday 3:30 P.M. – 7:30 P.M.

Thursday 3:30 P.M. – 7:30 P.M.

Saturday 10 A.M. – 6 P.M.

Sharon Allison was the lucky winner of our Mini-Blue grand opening drawing. Sharon was randomly picked from all the people who signed up for Club Blue, who’s membership gives them access to the products and pricing the district receives.
