Fresno Unified Tournament of Technology highlights students’ tech and problem-solving skills

Students in seventh, eighth and ninth grades will compete on Saturday, March 20 in the third annual Fresno Unified School District Tournament of Technology, which features competition in technology literacy and problem-solving. The competition, from 9 a.m.-noon with awards at 12:30 p.m., will be held throughout Hoover High School’s campus. Students compete in on-the-spot and prepared-project categories, with awards in each event and for an overall team champion. This highly successful event is supported by sponsors Microsoft, Cisco, Hewlett-Packard, AT&T, Western Blue, and IVS Computer Technology, with assistance from judges and volunteers from local businesses, California State University, Fresno, CART, Fresno County and others.
